2009 Apr. 20 New Types (for Glass Polished Lenses)
Four Newly Developed Optical Glass Types have been added.
FCD10A (low dispersion and abnormal dispersion glass)
FCD10A is low dispersion (νd = 90.20) glass with high relative dispersion (Pg_F = 0.5352). It is the next-generation optical glass for an advanced chromatic aberration correction. It is transparent and colorless. It exhibits outstanding internal transmittance.
FCD505 (high refractive index and abnormal dispersion glass)
It is an extremely low dispersion optical glass with the high refractive index glass (nd =1.59282 νd =68.63) even in the low dispersion region. It also has high dispersion (Pg_F = 0.5441). It is new optical glass useful in the high resolution of an optical system and optical compactness.
TAFD35 (high refractive index and low dispersion glass)
TAFD35 is new high-performance glass having both a high refractive index and low dispersion (nd = 1.91082 νd = 35.25). Superior polish ability, a high refractive index and a high internal transmittance are coexisited in the glass at a high level.
E-FDS2 (high refractive index and high dispersion glass)
It is the next-generation optical glass with high refractive index and dispersion (nd = 2.00272 νd = 19.32). It has a characteristics of low coloration and high refractive index (λ70 / λ5 = (460)/405) . It is a newly developed optical glass to correspond to wide-angle and high-powered zoom of an optical system.
2009 Apr. 20 New Types (for Glass Molded Lenses)
Five Newly developed glass types for Glass Molded Lenses have been added.
M-FCD1(abnormal dispersion glass material for the molded optics lens)
This material has almost the same refractive index, the abnormal dispersion, and low dispersion as the conventional FCD1 glass. The glass transition point is below 400°C, and the materials is suitable for the glass molded optics lens.
M-FCD500 (high refractive index and abnormal dispersion glass material for the molded optics lens)
Though this is an abnormal dispersion glass with a high refractive index, it is suitable for the glass molded lens because the glass transition temperature (Tg) point is below 400°C.
M-TAC60 and M-TAC80 (high refractive index glass for molded optics lens)
These materials are the next-generation optical glasses for precision molding which have both a high refractive index; nd > 1.7 and a low dispersion; νd > 50. They have a sufficient low softening temperature(T107.6)for the precision molding with excellent chemical durability.
M-FDS2
(high refractive index and high dispersion glass material for the molded optics lens)
This is a next generation molded optics glass that has very high refractive index and very high dispersion. This material has low transition temperature (Tg) , and is suitable for the molded optics lens.
